We are told that all life is priceless but in this world of litigation and political correctness gone crazy it has been given a price.
The Insurance industry have agreed that the average cost of a life insurance pay-out is £40,000.
Every life is precious to someone, Father, Mother Daughter, Son Uncle, Aunt, the list goes on, not to mention close friends.
In accidental death cases cost cutting or turning a blind eye is usually to blame. The Grenfell tower fire highlights this. When are the PC brigade going to stop pussy footing about and tell us as it is. Loosing one person is unacceptable, let alone 72. Being told to stay when they could have possibly escaped is being questioned at the highest level, (This is not questioning the Fire Services they did a brilliant job). What would you do in a Fire at work or at home?
Let a relative of one of the victims of the fire lead the investigation, I’m sure that they would find the responsible people in days, not months and months.
Accidents and Fires happen, most can be prevented. All life is priceless and those that don’t care should be dealt with immediately and sternly.
The safety of all people should be the number one priority of anyone involved with a building be it Designer, Builder, Landlord, Building Owner or even the Building tenant, let’s not trouble the Insurance companies for another £40,000, think about the ones who are priceless to you.
